Education Minister clarifies about CBSE Board exams

There is a lockdown in the entire counter till May 3 due to Corona virus infection. At same time, the students and the candidates appearing for the 10th and 12th board examinations are rolling all the questions about the exam and the results.On Monday the education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank answered the questions on Twitter.


During the lockdown, there is is only one question in the mind of the students taking the board examination and their parents, i.e whn the remaining exams will take place. On Monday, Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal met students and their parents through social media under #EducationMinisterGoesLive. Many questions were raised during the conversation with him, which were answered by the Minister.

Students advised to cancel the board exams,government said



Ashok Kumar Singh of Lucknow asked when the remaining papers of 10th and 12th will be held. To this, the minister replied, "As soon as the lockdown in the country will be removed and the situation will be normal, the Government will announce the schedule of the remaining papers of CBSE.

CBSE Board took this decision:

Let us know that CBSE had cleared in the first week of April that all the papers of 10th and 12th will not be done after the lockdown is over. CBSE will now conduct only the examination of the main 29 subjects. These will be the subjects which will be necessary for the students for promotion to the next classes and admission in higher educational institutions. It has also been said by the board that there will be no remaining exam of 10th and 12th centers abroad.



Exams postponed due to lockdown

The lockdown was imposed on April 14 to prevent Corona virus infection in the country. After this, the lockdown has been extended till May 3 in view of the increasing infection of the corona virus. All schools, colleges, universities and educational institutions in the country have been closed to prevent corona infection.


Due to the lockdown, many competitive examinations including the UPSC interview of the country have been cancelled. Some examinations of CBSE board 10th and 12th class were also postponed. After this, CBSE along with other state boards had decided to take students from first to ninth and 11th class class without further exam in the next class.
Now the biggest challenge after the lockdown is to conduct the remaining board exam and the results.
